The Richardson Brothers on libsyn.com
https://richardsonbrothers.libsyn.com/
In addition to other content, these are mostly short stories set in a fantasy Duluth where scientists have destabilized probability; Duluth becomes a city of wonders. Originally published under various titles in Duluth’s “Transistor,” these are stand-alone vignettes from a comic dystopia of corruption, ultraviolence, and delusion. The Richardson Brothers are Jim and Allen Richardson.
Jim Richardson: Cartoonist
https://jimrichardsoncartoonist.wordpress.com/
25 Years of Comix. From 1993 until just a few years ago, I maintained an unbroken cartooning streak from the California zine scene to the newsweekly/street calendar wars of Duluth MN. I think of myself as an applied doodler. First I was a minicomix zinester in Berkeley, Oakland, and Santa Cruz in the 1990s, attending the annual APE Convention in San Jose and selling/trading zines across the country through the mail in a pre-internet frenzy of analog connection. My flagship title was “Probosco”, the nose-man. Starting in 1998 in Duluth MN, my cartoons appeared in the Ripsaw News, mostly under the catch-all title “Crackbrained Comix”. Then, in the Transistor, my main title was “The Guys Who Never Stop Fighting”. Each strip lasted the years-long life of its respective publication. In addition there were one-offs, miniseries, and collaborations. As a cartoonist I am on hiatus to devote time to other projects. My focus remains on the imagination and ideas.
